Who we are

Cascades Edge Marketing produces short-form marketing videos for contractors and home-service businesses. We operate in British Columbia, Canada, and handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us through our contact form:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your business name and social media handle or page link
• The details of your inquiry and any project photos you upload

We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers or any sensitive personal information through this website.

Why we collect it

We use your information for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry, prepare a sample video if you asked for one, and discuss possible work with you. Submitting the form does not sign you up for a newsletter or marketing emails. If we ever want to send you marketing messages, we will ask for your consent first, and every such message will include an unsubscribe option, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Project photos and video content

Photos you upload are stored privately on our hosting provider's servers and are accessible only to us. We use them to review your project and to produce sample or final video content for you. We will not publish or use your photos or finished videos in our own portfolio or advertising without your permission. Please only upload photos you have the right to share.

Storage, retention and service providers

Form submissions reach us by email, and uploaded photos are held in private cloud storage. We keep inquiries and photos only as long as needed to respond to you and, if we work together, to deliver and support that work. You can ask us to delete your inquiry and photos at any time.

We rely on third-party hosting, storage and email delivery providers to operate this website. Some of these providers may store or process information on servers outside Canada, which means it may be subject to the laws of those countries. We choose providers that offer appropriate safeguards, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Cookies and analytics

With your acceptance, Google Analytics uses cookies and receives page visits, device and browser information, portfolio views, button clicks, form starts and successful inquiry events to help us understand website use. Google processes network information, including your IP address, when receiving requests. We do not send form contents, contact details or uploaded photos to Google Analytics. Google may process information outside Canada. We do not enable Google advertising personalization, Google Signals, Meta Pixel or retargeting.

Analytics remains off until you select Accept. Declining does not affect contacting us. Use Cookie settings in the footer to withdraw or change your choice at any time; withdrawal stops future measurement but does not erase information already collected. Your browser stores your choice, the time and the version of the notice shown. Our hosting provider may also keep standard server logs for security and reliability. Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask us to delete it. Email connect@cascadesedgemarketing.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business or this website changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
